How far are the Airbnbs from Cancun airport?
All our condos are located in Tulum. Tulum is 1 hour 40 minutes south of Cancun international airport.
How do I get from Cancun airport to Tulum?
You have 3 options. There is a bus from a company called ADO. The cost is around 17 USD, although the numbers of departures from the airport to Tulum are quite limited.
We are happy to help you set up a taxi. Price for 1-2 persons is 110 USD each way. 3-4 persons for 120 USD each way and 5+ passengers for 170 USD each way.
Many find renting a car to be the best option. Most guests are using Hertz Cancun airport and typically pay 30-40 USD pr day including full insurance (can be higher than this during high season)
Can we do an early check in?
We always try to be as flexible as we can. If we don’t have a check-out that same day as your check in date, we are often able to accommodate an early check-in, we have to look at this case by case a few days prior to check-in date.
Nevertheless, we always have staff 24/7 in our buildings and can always receive your luggage and look after them for you until check in time 4.00 PM
Can we do a late check-out?
As we have check in time 4.00 PM we need to have the units ready by that time. This means we need to be quite strict on the 11.00 am check out time. However, you can always leave your luggage with our staff, and we will look after them for you for as long as you wish.
Can use USD or should I change to Mexican pesos?
You can use your foreign visa/mastercard in most establishments. If you have cash, all places will accept both USD and Mexican pesos. There are several exchange money in Tulum center.
Can you help us to set up airport transfer, tours/excursions, private chef etc?
Through our extensive network in the region, we are happy to help you setting up private airport transfer, car rental, private chef, in-house massages, organize tours and excursions, yacht rental, restaurant reservations and anything else you might want before and during your stay.
Under “additional services” you can request any of these services and we will get back to you with more info and prices.
Do you have good Wi-Fi?
All our units have high speed internet line through a 60 MB fiber line. You should have no problem doing streaming and VPN services.
One of the persons in my group celebrate his/her birthday in Tulum, can you help decorate?
We cooperate with a person for these services. She can help you with any kind of decorations, balloons, cake etc.
Is the area safe and do you have a guard on site?
All our condos are located in the new trendy La Veleta / Region 15 area. We have staff on premise 24/7 and always a guard on site at night – as well as exterior cameras.
How far is my airbnb from the beach and downtown Tulum?
Our condos are located in La Veleta / Region 15 area. Close to both Tulum beach and the center of Tulum.
As Tulum is an archeological area, there are strong restrictions on how close to the beach you can build a residential area, with no Airbnb being beachfront here. We are only 12-15 min from the beach and 8-10 min from downtown Tulum.
What is the weather like in Tulum?
The climate of Tulum is tropical, hot all year round, with a muggy, rainy season from May to October and a cooler, relatively dry season from November to April. However, also in the latter season, rainfall may occur, in addition to wind and cloudiness, especially in December.
Winter is typically hot, but sometimes, from mid-November to mid-March, there can be cool and windy days, when the wind from the United States (el Norte) blows. The temperature can drop to 10/12 °C (50/54 °F) at night, and it can remain around 20/22 °C (68/72 °F) during the day.
From June to November (but with a higher probability from August to October), there is the risk of hurricanes.
The average temperature ranges from 23.4 °C (74.2 °F) in January to around 28.5 °C (83.5 °F) from June to August. Here are the average temperatures.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a full refund, you must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in.
If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll be refunded 50% for all nights. If you cancel after that, there is no refund.
How old do I have to be to rent a home?
You can book with us if you are 21 or older.
How can we order taxi once we are in Tulum?
We will provide you with a WhatsApp group chat where you can request transportation services 24/7. Our concierge and staff on premise can also help with this.
What is the best way to move around Tulum?
Renting a car at the airport is always a good option. Renting a bike could be a good options as well. We are happy to provide contact info for companies that rent cars, scooters or ATVs and bikes.
What time can be used to contact concierges that speak English?
We have two concierges that speak fluent English, Bruno and Brenda. Bruno is a virtual concierge who will be on the phone from 9 am to 7 pm (Mexico time).
Brenda will be on premise every now and then and is also available on the phone. If there is any emergency, you must call BRENDA (+52 984 156 3176) and she will be helping out.
Is there parking at the AIRBNB?
Yes, we do have free parking and security 24/7.
